Lawn Treatments

Moss & Weed Control
Targeted treatment to remove unwanted moss and weeds and promote healthier grass coverage.- Why? Maintains a clean, lush lawn free of invasive growth.
- When? As soon as weeds or moss are detected. The earlier the better!
- How? All of our operatives are fully trained and hold PA1 and PA6 qualifications. They will apply both herbicides and moss-killer to your lawn and then remove the leftover.
Aeration
Aeration involves perforating the soil to allow better penetration of air, water, and nutrients.- Why? Improves root growth and combats soil compaction.
- When? Ideal in Spring or Autumn when lawns are actively growing.
- How? We use a Bannerman Aerator machine to create holes in your lawn that are perfectly placed to combat soil compaction.
Scarification
Scarification removes built-up thatch from your lawn to restore access to air, water, and nutrients.- Why? Prevents suffocation of your lawn and improves growth.
- When? Best in Spring and Autumn.
- How? We use an Eliet machine that expertly removes all thatch without causing any unnecessary damage to your lawn. We will perform two passes with the machine to ensure that all of the unwanted plant matter is removed.
Lawn Renovation
Comprehensive recovery for lawns suffering from damage, thinning, or neglect.- Why? Revives tired lawns and restores vibrant coverage.
- When? Best done in Spring or early Autumn, after sun damage from Summer or frost damage in the Winter.
- How? First, we apply our moss and weed killer treatment. 7-14 days later, we will return to aerate, seed, and top dress your lawn. Then, we will apply an effective fertiliser. This is a much more cost effective way to restore your lawn than re-turfing.
Overseeding
Introducing fresh grass seed to existing turf to improve density and colour.- Why? Thickens thin areas and improves overall lawn health.
- When? Best results in Spring or Autumn.
- How? Seeds are scattered across your lawn using a spreading machine. This ensures even placement of seeding across your lawn to remove any patchy areas.
Top Dressing
A layer of sand or soil applied to improve lawn level and soil structure.- Why? Helps smooth out uneven surfaces and improves lawn level, compost structure and soil health.
- When? Usually performed after aeration or scarification.
- How? Applied evenly across your lawn by hand or machine.
